More than 220 participants from banks and financial institutions attended this year’s user conference on regulatory reporting and risk management hosted by msg for banking ag at the Palmengarten in Frankfurt. Together with Ingo Müller (msg for banking), Prof. Dr. Dirk Schieborn presented “Insights: AI meets msg.ORRP”, showing how artificial intelligence is being built into the msg.ORRP platform.
The talk focused on three areas of application:
- AI-assisted data reconciliation – finding and explaining discrepancies between data sources faster
- AI-based scenario development – developing risk management scenarios systematically
- AI-based analyses and control processes – supporting and documenting review and control steps
Beyond that, the talk addressed how AI is changing work in regulatory reporting and supervision as a whole. Further programme items included an IReF update by Frank Mayerlen (ECB) and the implementation status and roadmap of msg.ORRP.
