At the msg for banking AI Business Brunch, board members, AI leads and heads of IT and strategy from banks, savings banks, development banks and specialist institutions met to discuss the step from individual AI initiatives to an enterprise-wide AI strategy. The event was fully booked.
Prof. Dr. Dirk Schieborn, Head of AI & Data Analytics Hub at msg for banking, presented the success story “From Sampling to Full Audit – Beyond the Chatbot” together with Kay Dietrich (Director Internal Audit, Aareal Bank). It builds on the AI@AUDIT project that both had previously presented at the Trend Conference on Supervisory Law: instead of manually reviewing individual samples, the AI analyses the entire portfolio and delivers reasoned draft findings, while internal audit remains responsible for the assessment. AI not as a chatbot, but as part of the audit process.
Further programme items included a welcome by Dr. Frank Schlottmann (CEO of msg for banking), a “State of AI” assessment by Tim S. Körwers, roundtables and a panel discussion on enterprise-wide AI strategy. The event was moderated by Fabian Forthmann.
