INSIDE FinAI in Berlin centered on the question: AI in compliance – what already works when using artificial intelligence in banks’ compliance functions today? Because although AI has long since arrived in banking, its use in the sensitive area of compliance still comes with uncertainty for many.
Prof. Dr. Dirk Schieborn moderated the event and at the same time gave a talk on AI-assisted auditing in internal audit. Instead of buzzwords, the focus was on practical insights: concrete use cases, scientifically grounded classification and exchange with experts from the industry – together with Ansgar Finken (Chief Risk Officer and member of the executive board of Solaris SE) and Dr. Waldemar Grudzien.
The central question was how AI can be deployed responsibly and in a regulatory-compliant manner within compliance. The event was hosted by msg for banking and took place at the TAM Akademie in Berlin.
